Label Guide: Score

Score Records was a budget subsidiary of Aladdin Records in the 1950s. Founded by Aladdin owners, brothers Eddie and Leo Mesner, Score released some collectible blues and jazz albums, usually reissues of older recordings from the Aladdin, Intro or Jazz:West labels, but in some cases for the first time on LP format. The label was active between 1957 and 1959.
