Label Guide: Intro

Intro Records was founded in April 1950 as the country and popular music subsidiary of R&B label Aladdin Records. Most of Intro's early releases were 78rpm singles with a couple of 10"-albums in the mix. The label put out releases until 1957, and in its final year Intro started an interesting jazz album series; especially the Art Pepper album is in high demand today.
