LHI Records (Lee Hazlewood Industries) was an American record label founded by singer/songwriter Lee Hazlewood in 1967. In 1967, The International Submarine Band, feat. The Byrds' Gram Parsons, recorded "Safe At Home" for the label, which some consider to be the first country rock album.
The first three LHI albums were distributed by Decca Records in 1967. Distribution then changed to ABC Records for a short time before Hazlewood and LHI became fully independent. The label lasted until 1971.
