Label Guide: Oyster

Oyster Records was a British label set up by the band Deep Purple in 1975. Acts on Oyster included Deep Purple related Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow, Ian Gillan Band and Paice Ashton Lord, and folk-rock band Strawbs. The label was distributed by Polydor and lasted until 1979.
