New Voice Records was founded in 1965 by producer Bob Crewe in New York City. Technically, New Voice was a subsidiary of Crewe's Dynovoice Records, originally distributed by Bell Records until Dot Records handled distribution from 1967 on. New Voice released only five albums, four of them by Mitch Ryder & Detroit Wheels.
In 1969, Bob Crewe consolidated all his labels into the Crewe Group Of Companies (CGC) label, and the New Voice brand was discontinued.
