Stormy Forest is the record label of Richie Havens, founded in 1969 after his opening performance at the Woodstock festival that catapulted him into stardom. Havens released five albums on Stormy Forest, and other artists that recorded for the label included Bob Brown, Kathy Smith, and Montreal. In 1974, Richie Havens' success had faded, and so did his label.
Stormy Forest was first distributed by MGM Records, then for the final album release in 1974 by Polydor Records.
