Label Guide: Clarion

Clarion Records was a budget label (list price $1.98) for Atlantic Records, debuted in 1965 with a simultaneous release of 21 albums. Initial plans called for putting out ten new releases every other month, but that never happened and the first bunch of albums were the only Clarion releases when the label was closed within a year.
