Bamboo Records was an influential British reggae label, founded 1969 in London by Junior Lincoln. Nearly all of its releases were produced by legendary Jamaican producer Clement Dodd, better known as Coxon Dodd. Junior and Bamboo Records were involved with several other reggae labels at the time, including Ashanti and Banana Records.
Bamboo Records (USA) was an unrelated American soul label, founded by Yolanda Hardin, the mother of Mel Hardin of R&B duo Mel & Tim. The sole album released on the American Bamboo label was Mel & Tim's "Good Guys Only Win in the Movies", and just about one year after its start, the label was closed again.
