Private Stock Records was an American label that was active from 1974 to 1978. It was based in New York City and founded by former Bell executive Larry Uttal. Private Stock had several mainstream pop hits (Frankie Valli, David Soul), but the most significant release on the label was Blondie's debut album, which failed to generate notable sales for Private Stock and only became a hit two years later when Chrysalis re-released the album.
